Our approach

Our five most cherished values

Our approach to counseling, therapy and prevention

We believe you are the specialist in your own experience and we envision the therapeutic relationship as a 'safe place' where you may experiment, in a controlled manner, some changes that will help you improve your well-being and/or prevent future psychological-health problems.

Our values

Empathy: We strongly believe that empathy is the most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship. We understand it is difficult to ask for help and to change and we strive to look at the world through your own lenses.

Respect: We respect your privacy and the confidential nature of our relationship. Also, we respect every culture, race, ethnicity, belief, sexual orientation, gender and condition.

Competence: We only use evidence-based methods of assessment, intervention and case formulation as well as psychometric measures to monitor progress. Additionally, we strongly encourage our professionals to continually invest in training, education and to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in their field.

Integrity: We are authentic and honest about our work, conditions and limitations. We make every effort to inform you about what you may expect and we make sure to not promise what we cannot fulfil.

Responsiveness: Our psychologists adapt their interventions to your current condition and they are open to discussing any issues regarding your therapeutic relationship. We do our best to make you feel understood and accepted while presenting you with small challenges (if necessary) to help you fulfil your therapeutic and life objectives.
